"Takht-e-Lahore is about to overturn and era of Mughal emperors is going to end, "he told Punjab Assembly on Thursday.

Speaking on a point of order, Raja Riaz said, all was set to make South Punjab a new province and demand for constitution of a commission was absurd and illogical. He said Sharif brothers and their coterie could not succeed in creating hurdles in way of new province.

Lambasting Pujab chief minister for his discrimination against opposition members, Riaz said, development funds were being doled out to PML-N MPAs while funds allocated especially for Southern Punjab and Faisalabad had been diverted to Raiwind.
