Three passengers killed as gunmen open fire on Quetta-Karachi coach in Mastung
1 min readAt least three passengers were killed and three others injured after unknown gunmen opened fire on a passenger coach travelling from Quetta to Karachi in Balochistan’s Mastung district on Wednesday, police said.
The attack took place in the Khad Kocha area, where armed assailants targeted the coach, leaving three passengers dead at the scene.
Police said the three injured passengers were shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Law enforcement personnel and rescue teams rushed to the site soon after the attack, cordoned off the area and began collecting evidence.
Police said an investigation had been launched to determine the motive behind the attack and identify those responsible.
A search operation was also underway to arrest the assailants.
