Operation Shaban death toll rises to 91 as three more terrorists killed in Balochistan
1 min readAt least three more militants were killed in the ongoing Operation Shaban in Balochistan, security sources said on Thursday, taking the total number of terrorists killed during the operation to 91.
The militants were killed in coordinated operations carried out by the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan and police, the sources said.
According to the sources, security forces targeted militant hideouts in difficult mountainous terrain during the latest phase of the operation, inflicting further losses on members of Fitna Al Khwarij.
The sources said the latest operation increased the number of militants eliminated in Operation Shaban from 88 to 91.
They added that a total of 129 militants have been killed in Operation Shaban and other intelligence-based operations (IBOs) conducted since July 5.
Operation Shaban remains underway across Balochistan, with ground and aerial operations continuing to target militant strongholds, the sources said.
Security sources said the operation would continue until the last militant is eliminated, reaffirming the security forces’ resolve to restore peace and stability in the province.
