A Lahore sessions court has extended the interim bail of PML-N MPA Saqib Chadhar and his wife, Samira, until July 13 in a case involving the alleged harassment and death threats against actress Momina Iqbal.

During the hearing, Additional Sessions Judge Nusrat Ali Siddiqui granted Samira another opportunity to join the investigation and adjourned the proceedings until July 13.

The investigation officer informed the court that Samira has not yet joined the investigation, while the mobile phones of both accused have been sent for forensic analysis.

The officer requested more time to complete the investigation.

Saqib Chadhar appeared before the court along with his wife.

The case was registered by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) on the complaint of actress Momina Iqbal.
