Students seeking to benefit from the Punjab government’s subsidised e-bike scheme can apply online through the official Chief Minister’s e-Bikes Scheme portal after meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria.

According to the Punjab government, applicants must:

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Be enrolled as a regular student in an HEC-recognised degree college or university in Punjab.
  • Hold a valid motorcycle learner’s permit or driving licence.

How to apply

Eligible students can submit their applications through the official portal:

Applicants are required to:

  • Create an account using their CNIC and mobile number.
  • Complete the online application form.
  • Enter educational and personal information.
  • Upload the required documents, including student enrolment details and learner’s permit or driving licence.
  • Select the electric bike option and submit the application for verification.

If applications exceed the available quota, successful candidates will be selected through a transparent electronic balloting process based on the government’s allocation criteria.

Equal opportunities are provided for male and female students, while additional quotas are allocated across Punjab’s divisions.

The Punjab government says the initiative aims to make higher education more accessible by reducing commuting costs while promoting environmentally friendly transport across the province.
