Four killed in mosque shooting over property dispute in Bannu
1 min readFour people, including a father and his son, were killed in a shooting inside a mosque in the Domel police station area of Odin Kalla in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Bannu district on Saturday night, police said.
According to police, the incident occurred shortly after the Isha prayer. The victims were identified as Umar Nawaz, Matiullah, Farmanullah and Umair.
Authorities said the attack was allegedly linked to a long-standing property dispute.
The suspected attackers, reportedly relatives of the victims, fled the scene after the shooting.
Police shifted the bodies to the hospital for post-mortem examinations and have launched an investigation into the incident. Efforts are underway to arrest the suspects.
