The Sindh government has announced the dates for the release of annual examination results for Matriculation and Intermediate students, officials said.

Matriculation results will be released on July 10, while Intermediate results will be announced by July 31, according to decisions taken at a meeting chaired by Sindh Minister for Universities and Educational Boards Muhammad Ismail Rahoo.

Chairmen of the educational boards briefed the meeting and said results for ninth and eleventh-grade students would also be released by Aug 31.

Officials said all possible support was being provided to ensure transparency and improvements in the examination system.

In Sukkur, duties of staff members who performed poorly during the examinations were cancelled, while in Karachi, cases were registered against several people for violating Section 144 during the examination period, officials said.
