Ogra raises LNG prices by up to 28%

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) has issued a notification raising liquefied natural gas (LNG) prices by up to 28 per cent for May, Sui Southern Gas Company said.

Under the new rates, the LNG price for Sui Southern has been set at $16.04 per million British thermal units (MMBtu), an increase of $3.51 per MMBtu, the notification said.

For Sui Northern Gas Pipelines, the new price has been fixed at $16.98 per MMBtu, up $3.40 per MMBtu, it added.
