Gold prices rise in Pakistan, tracking global market
1 min readGold prices rose in Pakistan on Monday, tracking gains in the international market.
The price of gold per tola climbed Rs1,700 to reach Rs428,436, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA). Ten-gram gold rose Rs1,457 to Rs367,314.
The local gains followed a decline on Saturday, when gold per tola fell Rs3,700 to Rs426,736.
Internationally, gold gained $17 to reach $4,060 per ounce, with a $20 premium.
Silver also rose, gaining Rs54 to reach Rs6,291 per tola.
