Gold prices drop in international and local markets

Gold prices in Pakistan decreased on Monday in line with their loss in the international market. In the local market, the gold price per tola reached Rs479,962 after a decline of Rs3,800 during the day.

Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs 411,490 after it fell by Rs 3,257, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

On Saturday, the gold price per tola reached Rs483,762 after a decline of Rs200 during the day.

The international rate of gold declined by $38 to reach $4,576 per ounce (with a premium of $20).

Meanwhile, the price of silver also decreased by Rs100 to reach Rs7,914 per tola.
