President Asif Ali Zardari will undertake an official visit to China from April 25 to May 1, the Foreign Office spokesperson said on Saturday.

The president will visit Changsha in Hunan Province from April 25 to 27 and will stay in Sanya, Hainan Province from April 28 to May 1.

During the visit, he will hold meetings with Chinese provincial leadership to discuss Pakistan-China relations, with a focus on economic cooperation and the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

The visit comes as the two countries mark 75 years of diplomatic relations.

Both sides are expected to reaffirm their commitment to further strengthening the all-weather strategic cooperative partnership between Pakistan and China.
