Pakistan Football Federation President Mohsin Gilani said on Monday that the installation of Pakistan’s first FIFA Arena football pitch has begun under a Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) grassroots initiative.

PFF President Mohsin Gilani said a modern mini football pitch will be built at a government school in Lahore’s Sabzazar area in collaboration with FIFA and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), as work on a second pitch in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will begin soon.

According to Mohsin Gilani, 11 FIFA Arena pitches are approved in Pakistan, while 15 more have been requested. The Government of Pakistan has also assured to provide full facilities for the project.
