Saudi authorities have ordered Umrah pilgrims to leave the country by April 18 as part of preparations for the upcoming Hajj season.

The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah issued the directive.

At the same time, the Saudi Ministry of Interior confirmed that only individuals holding Hajj visas will be allowed to stay in Makkah after the deadline.

Authorities said that, from now on, entry into Makkah for both local and foreign individuals without a permit is banned.

Officials added that people on Umrah, visit or other visas must leave Makkah by April 18, warning that staying beyond the deadline will be considered a legal violation and may result in action.

The measures are implemented annually to manage crowds and ensure security during Hajj.
