Punjab launches police app to report lost documents from home
1 min readPunjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on Thursday launched a new mobile application aimed at improving citizen services, allowing residents to report lost documents from home.
The “Punjab Police Pakistan” app enables users across the province to register complaints for lost identity cards, passports, driving licences and other important documents without visiting police stations or service centres.
Officials said the app also provides verification of loss reports at home, reducing the need for in-person visits and saving both time and resources.
Speaking at the launch, the chief minister said providing convenience to citizens through modern technology remains a top government priority.
Separately, on her directives, lawmakers and district administration officials visited affected families in Jhika Gali, Murree.
Temporary accommodation has been arranged for displaced residents, while authorities have completed an initial assessment of damaged homes.
