Gold prices decline locally and globally

Gold prices in Pakistan decreased on Thursday in line with their loss in the international market. In the local market, the gold price per tola reached Rs494,662 after a decline of Rs9,500 during the day.

Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs424,092 after it fell by Rs8,415, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

On Wednesday, the gold price per tola reached Rs504,162 after a gain of Rs15,700 during the day.

The international rate of gold declined by $95 to reach $4,723 per ounce (with a premium of $20).

Meanwhile, the price of silver also decreased by Rs300 to reach Rs7,884 per tola.
