Netflix has announced the release date for Season 2 of its live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender, the platform wrote.

The main cast includes Gordon Cormier as Aang, Kiawentiio as Katara, Ian Ousley as Sokka, Dallas Liu as Zuko, Paul Sun-Hyung Lee as Iroh, Elizabeth Yu as Azula, Momona Tamada as Ty Lee, and Daniel Dae Kim as Fire Lord Ozai.

Season 2 will also introduce Toph, the blind earthbender, played by Miyako.

The series follows Aang, the Avatar, who can control air, water, earth, and fire. After mastering waterbending in Season 1, he will focus on earthbending in Season 2 while evading the Fire Nation and Prince Zuko.

Christine Boylan and Jabbar Raisani will take over as executive producers, with Kim remaining in an executive producer role.

Other executive producers include Dan Lin, Lindsey Liberatore, and Michael Goi, representing Rideback.
