Samsung unveils Galaxy A57, A37 with AI, pro-level cameras
2 min readSamsung Electronics has unveiled its latest mid-range smartphones, the Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G, expanding artificial intelligence features and camera capabilities to a wider user base.
The new Galaxy A series devices introduce upgraded “Awesome Intelligence” powered by One UI 8.5, bringing AI-driven tools such as voice transcription, AI-assisted photo editing, and enhanced search functions. Samsung said the move reflects its push to democratise AI across more affordable devices.
“The new Galaxy A series reflects our continued commitment to AI democratisation,” said TM Roh, head of Samsung’s Device eXperience division, adding that the devices aim to deliver reliable everyday performance while accelerating AI adoption.
Both models feature a 50-megapixel main camera, supported by improved image processing for sharper photos and better low-light performance through Nightography.
The Galaxy A57 offers additional enhancements, including faster shutter speeds and advanced editing tools such as Best Face and Auto Trim.
Samsung has also focused on performance and durability. The Galaxy A57 comes with upgraded processing power, a slim design, and a 5,000mAh battery capable of lasting up to two days.
Both devices support fast charging, feature Super AMOLED displays with up to 120Hz refresh rates, and carry an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
In terms of software support, Samsung is offering up to six generations of Android and One UI upgrades, along with six years of security updates, positioning the devices for long-term use.
Security features include Samsung Knox Vault, along with privacy tools such as a Security Dashboard, Auto Blocker, and a new Private Album for safeguarding personal media.
The Galaxy A57 5G will be available in Navy, Icy Blue and Lilac, while the Galaxy A37 5G comes in Lavender, Charcoal and Graygreen. Availability details vary by market.
