Pakistan is actively facilitating indirect negotiations between the United States and Iran through message exchanges, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said in a statement to X on Thursday.

Dar revealed that the Trump administration shared a 15-point proposal, which Iran is currently reviewing.

He added that other countries, including Turkey and Egypt, are supporting this diplomatic initiative.

Addressing speculation in the media about the peace talks, Dar emphasised that Pakistan remains fully committed to promoting peace and stability in the region.

“Dialogue and diplomacy are the only way forward,” he said, underlining Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to ensure regional stability.

Dar also tagged US Secretary of State Marc Rubio, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, and Trump envoy Steve Witkoff, signalling coordination with key officials involved in the indirect negotiations.
