Ishaq Dar to visit Riyadh for regional foreign ministers’ meeting

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar will embark on a two-day visit to Saudi Arabia today (Wednesday) to attend a meeting of the foreign ministers of regional countries.

According to a statement issued by Foreign Office spokesperson Tahir Hussain Andrabi, Senator Dar will reaffirm Pakistan’s support for the territorial integrity, sovereignty, and political independence of all countries in the region and call for an end to all attacks on their territories.

He will also reiterate Pakistan’s demand for an immediate end to ongoing conflicts and emphasise the need for a return to dialogue and diplomacy.

He will also highlight Pakistan’s diplomatic outreach efforts and its desire to play a key role in resolving the region’s current security crisis.
