Afghan youth form national mobilisation front to resist Taliban rule
1 min readYoung leaders from northern and eastern Afghanistan have announced the formation of the National Mobilization Front (NMF) to resist the Taliban’s occupation and terrorist policies.
The NMF stated that the Taliban are not true representatives of the Afghan people but usurpers who have seized control by force.
The group said its primary goal is to liberate Afghanistan from terrorist control and safeguard citizens’ rights.
Leaders of the NMF drew parallels with the jihad against the former Soviet Union, asserting that resistance against the Taliban has now become a national duty.
They added that large segments of the Afghan population remain oppressed and that representatives of the people are taking action.
The organization emphasized that its formation is a response to the Taliban’s sponsorship of terrorism, with a focus on promoting peace, stability, and public rights.
Composed of youth from northern and eastern provinces, the NMF positions itself as a true representative of the people and a force defending national dignity.
