Operation Ghazab-lil-Haq: Pakistan military destroys oil storage sites at Kandahar airfield
1 min readThe Pakistan military has destroyed oil storage facilities at the Kandahar Airfield in southern Afghanistan as part of its ongoing campaign dubbed Operation Ghazab‑lil‑Haq, according to security sources.
Officials said the strikes were carried out during the night of March 12 and 13, when Pakistani forces launched effective and targeted attacks on the oil storage sites located within the airfield.
Security sources said the facilities were being used by the Afghan Taliban and other militant groups to support their operations.
Authorities added that footage of the strikes has been released, showing scenes before and after the attacks and clearly depicting the targeted structures being hit.
According to officials, the objective of the operation was to dismantle infrastructure that was facilitating attacks and logistical support for militant activities.
The strikes were conducted under the broader military campaign, Operation Ghazab-lil-Haq, during which suspected militant hideouts and related facilities are being targeted at multiple locations.
Security officials indicated that further actions may follow as part of the ongoing operation.
However, no official details have been released so far regarding casualties or additional damage.
Authorities said operations will continue until the campaign’s objectives are fully achieved.
