Ishaq Dar holds talks with Oman FM on Middle East tensions
1 min readDeputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation with Oman’s Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi to exchange views on the evolving situation in the Middle East and the wider region.
Ishaq Dar appreciated Oman’s constructive and principled role in promoting dialogue and de-escalation amid escalating regional tensions, reports Radio Pakistan.
He also expressed solidarity with Oman and its people in light of the recent attacks on the country.
Ishaq Dar emphasised Pakistan’s call for restraint, immediate de-escalation and a return to diplomacy.
He reaffirmed Pakistan’s continued support for all efforts aimed at reducing tensions and promoting peace and stability in the region and beyond.
