The brutality of Fitna al-Khawarij has been exposed again on Friday, after a video surfaced showing the group torturing an innocent girl in the Bannu district.

According to reports circulating on social media, the girl had been wearing men’s clothing at her place of employment to help her parents, in defiance of Fitna al-Khawarij’s ban on women working.

Workers of the group allegedly kidnapped her, subjected her to brutal torture, and recorded the incident on video.

The video has triggered widespread anger and resentment against Fitna al-Khawarij in public circles.

Experts described the incident as an irreparable crime, while scholars called the violence and humiliation inflicted on the girl a distorted reflection of the group’s practices.
