Jamaat-e-Islami delegation offers condolences over Ayatollah Khamenei’s death
1 min readA delegation of Jamaat-e-Islami led by Provincial Amir Abdul Wasi visited the Iranian Consulate in Peshawar on Wednesday to offer condolences over the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei.
The delegation met with Iranian Consul General Ali Banafshah Khwa, with Abdul Wasi expressing deep sorrow and grief over the passing of Ayatollah Khamenei. The group paid tribute to Khamenei’s religious, national, and global services.
During the meeting, Abdul Wasi strongly condemned the “barbaric attacks and inhuman atrocities” of the United States and Israel, and expressed complete solidarity with the Iranian leadership and people in this difficult situation.
He described the attacks by the U.S. and Israel as a “poison for the entire world and the Middle East,” and said the Pakistani nation stands with the people of Iran during this time.
