Professor suspended after viral video shows him allegedly drunk on campus
1 min readThe Sindh government has suspended Professor Azhar Shah, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Sindh University’s Dadu Campus, following the circulation of viral videos showing him allegedly in a drunken state, using obscene language, and disrupting academic activities.
Several clips circulating on social media show Professor Shah hurling insults in English, making unusual movements, and dancing before getting into a car.
Journalist Wajih Sani shared one video with the caption stating students were trying to send the Pro-Vice Chancellor home while he appeared intoxicated and focused on “popularity.”
Authorities have taken notice of the videos, prompting the immediate suspension of Professor Shah.
