The ownership of Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Multan Sultans will be decided on Monday, with an auction scheduled to take place at the Expo Centre Lahore at 6 pm.

Five bidders, including the team’s previous owner, Ali Tareen, are competing to acquire the franchise. The base price for the team is set at approximately Rs 1.8 billion.

The auction follows the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) announcement to open the franchise for bids after a review of ownership agreements.

The Multan Sultans, who joined the PSL in 2018, have been among the league’s competitive teams, and their ownership has drawn significant attention from investors and cricket enthusiasts alike.
