Taylor Swift unveils first glimpse of new project after months-long hiatus
1 min readTaylor Swift is set to surprise fans with a new project after months of keeping a low profile.
The pop superstar announced on Thursday that the music video for her track Opalite will drop on Friday, February 6, via a countdown posted on her official website.
The video will be available on Apple Music and Spotify at 8am on February 6 for premium users, and on YouTube starting February 8 at 8am.
Alongside the video, Swift is releasing a limited-edition Opalite 7-inch vinyl single, available for 48 hours through her online store, with shipping expected on or around February 9.
Opalite is the second music video from her album The Life of a Showgirl, following the lead single The Fate of Ophelia.
The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 after its October 3 release, staying at the top for 12 weeks and moving a record-breaking 4.002 million equivalent album units in its first week.
The Fate of Ophelia opened at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, with Opalite reaching No. 2.
