At least four suspected terrorists were killed during an operation by the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) in the Sariab area of Quetta, officials said on Saturday.

The suspected terrorists belonged to the Indian militant proxy Fitna Al Hindustan.

According to a CTD spokesperson, the raid at the terrorists’ compound yielded a significant cache of weapons, hand grenades, and literature belonging to a banned organisation.

The spokesperson added that an exchange of gunfire took place during the operation.

Security forces cordoned off the area as part of safety measures to clear the compound.

Authorities said the operation was part of ongoing efforts to target militants in the region and ensure public safety.
