NPAC reaffirms solidarity with armed forces against terrorism in meeting with DG ISPR
National Paigham-e-Aman Committee (NPAC), led by Hafiz Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi, met with the DG ISPR on Tuesday, expressing unwavering solidarity with the Pakistan Armed Forces and assured full cooperation against anti-state and extremist narratives.
The delegation strongly condemned all forms of terrorism, including Fitna al Khawarij, Tehrik-e-Taliban (TTP) Pakistan and Tehrik-e-Taliban Afghanistan (TTA) and made it clear that there is no justification for terrorism.
DG ISPR said that unity and a unified narrative in matters of national security are the need of the hour.
The meeting had a comprehensive discussion on the internal security situation in the context of Fitna al Khawarij/TTP and TTA, which further strengthened the common position.
DG ISPR reaffirmed Pakistan’s principled stance on Kashmir and Gaza and said that supporting the oppressed is Pakistan’s moral responsibility.
The NPAC expressed its commitment to promote national unity, social harmony, and constitutional equality from religious platforms across the country.
On this occasion, it was also agreed to adopt a zero-tolerance policy against hate speech, sectarianism and takfiri narratives.
It was also suggested to increase awareness and guidance sessions in mosques, madrassas and universities to promote the national narrative, describing the meeting as exceptionally useful, the DG ISPR expressed hope for progress on new avenues of trust and practical cooperation.
