Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi were allowed to meet at Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi, jail sources said on Wednesday.

According to the sources, the meeting was held in accordance with jail rules and the prescribed procedure.

The sources said the meeting between Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi took place in the jail’s conference room and lasted for approximately 45 minutes.

Jail authorities said such meetings are conducted strictly in line with prison laws and regulations.

Items brought by Bushra Bibi were also received by the jail administration during the visit.

According to sources, the items included blankets, warm clothing, fruits and dates, which were deposited following the prescribed procedure.
