K-Pop sensation BTS will release a new album on March 20, followed by a world tour, BigHit Music announced on Thursday.

This marks the group’s first album in over three years since their 2022 anthology ‘Proof’.

BigHit said, “With the release of a new album on March 20, [BTS] will embark on a large-scale world tour.

Details about the album and tour will be shared through official channels later.”

The group had paused activities as members completed South Korea’s mandatory military service in rotation.

BTS celebrated the New Year 2026 with fans during a live countdown on December 31, interacting closely with their fandom, ARMY, fueling speculation about an imminent major announcement.

The comeback date had been teased earlier through handwritten letters sent to select fans, expressing gratitude and stamped with “2026.03.20,” hinting at the long-awaited return.
