BBC News Urdu has launched its TV programme “Jahan Numa” (Window to the World) on Aaj News, expanding its reach to broadcast audiences across Pakistan.

The show airs Monday to Friday at 7:30pm local time (14:30 GMT). It will also be available on BBC News Urdu’s digital platforms from 8:00pm (15:00 GMT).

The 18-minute programme is produced in London and hosted by BBC presenters Khalid Karamat and Samrah Fatima.

Jahan Numa draws on BBC News Urdu’s network of correspondents to deliver global and regional stories, covering current affairs, climate, science, technology and culture. Each segment uses verified data and analysis to add context and depth.
