The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) III reported recovering Rs 300 million from various cases of mismanagement.
The Education Department has submitted its recovery report to the committee.
Further investigations revealed that records of several financial irregularities were not shared with the Audit Department, and registration fees were not collected from private schools.
Mismanagement in procurement, illegal allowances to staff, and unlawful payments under the name of security accounts were also reported.
