Guinness World Records has officially honored 29-year-old Pakistani educator Muhammad Shahzeb Awan as the world’s youngest university chancellor (male), marking an inspiring achievement for Pakistan’s new generation of leaders. Shahzeb currently serves as the Chancellor of the National Institute of Technology (NIT), a federally chartered university established under Act No. VI of 2025.

NIT is reshaping the landscape of higher education in Pakistan through its academic partnership with Arizona State University (ASU), one of the most innovative universities in the United States. He added that this achievement is not just a personal milestone but a message to the country’s young people. “Leadership is not tied to age. It comes from conviction, discipline, and purpose. This is just the beginning.”
