Gold prices surged in both Pakistani and international markets on Saturday.

In Pakistan, the price of one tola of gold rose by Rs2,300, reaching Rs428,862, while 10 grams of gold increased by Rs1,972 to Rs367,680, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

On the global market, gold prices climbed by $23, taking the rate to $4,065 per ounce.

On Friday, the gold price per tola remained stable at Rs426,562.

Meanwhile, the price of silver also jumped by Rs48 to reach Rs5,270 per tola.
