Former Leader of the Opposition in the Punjab Assembly Mahmoodur Rasheed has been admitted to Jinnah Hospital after developing complications caused by pneumonia, hospital sources said on Saturday.

According to medical staff, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Mahmood ur Rasheed’s blood tests, X-rays, and CT scans have been completed to assess the severity and possible causes of infection.

He has been kept under medical observation for further evaluation.

A team of doctors led by Professor of Medicine Dr Khalid Mahmood is supervising his treatment.
