ICC Women’s World Cup: Pakistan’s losing streak continues, stand last on points table

Rain brings major setbacks as two of their matches resulted in 'no result'

In the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 in Colombo, Sri Lanka, Pakistan’s losing streak continued to daunt the team’s hopes to secure a single win in the tournament, as South Africa beat Pakistan by 183 runs through the DLS method.

Out of six of their matches, Pakistan women faced disruptions caused by heavy rains in their matches against England and New Zealand, which resulted in the cancellation of those matches without any result; However, they got a single point for that.

They had lost to Australia, India, Bangladesh, and South Africa in the other four matches.

The Pakistan women’s team are yet to face the host Sri Lankan team in their seventh and last match of the campaign.
