Dengue cases continued to increase in Punjab, with 53 people confirmed with the disease during the past 24 hours.

Thirty infections were reported from Rawalpindi, and 13 from Lahore.

Faislabad reported four cases, whereas Multan, Sargodha, Sahiwal, Khushab and Kasur reported one case each.

In the year 1814, people were reported to have contracted dengue across Punjab.
