The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Lahore on Tuesday adjourned the hearing of the bail petition filed by Shershah, son of Aleema Khan and nephew of PTI founder Imran Khan, in the Jinnah House attack case until September 4.

Presiding Judge Manzar Ali Gul heard the case and directed the prosecution to present the complete record on the next date of hearing.

During the proceedings, Shershah appeared in court along with his legal counsel and his mother, Aleema Khan.

The defence counsel urged the court to bind the investigating officer, DSP Javed, to submit the required documents.

The court noted the request and instructed the prosecution to ensure submission of records before the next hearing.

The case pertains to the violent attack on Lahore’s historic Jinnah House during the May 9 unrest, in which several PTI leaders and workers were booked under terrorism charges.
