Pakistani students grab two golds and a silver at Asian Science Camp 2025
Pakistani students showcased outstanding performance at the Asian Science Camp 2025 in Thailand, winning two gold medals and one silver.
This is being hailed as the biggest achievement in Pakistan’s history in an international science competition.“
The Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF) had formed an eight-member team for the event, selecting participants through rigorous nationwide tests and interviews.
All chosen students were awarded full scholarships to ensure they could prepare thoroughly for the contest.

Ali Afzal Muhammad of Khyber Medical College, Peshawar, won a gold medal in the “Innovation and Technology” category.
Malak Shahabuddin Syed of Bolan Medical College clinched another gold in the “Sustainability” category, while Muhammad Hashr Ishaq of NUST earned a silver medal in the same field.
The achievement marks a new milestone for Pakistan in global science competitions and highlights the potential of its young talent.
