Police foil quadcopter attack on Miryan police station in Bannu
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police on Sunday thwarted a quadcopter attack by terrorists on Miryan police station in Bannu.
The police used advanced technology to foil the attack by terrorists who used a quadcopter.
According to DIG Bannu Region Sajjad Khan, the quadcopter was shot down in mid-air.
He said terrorists were believed to be hiding in the suburbs of Bannu, especially in Ghora Bakakhel and Merian Nord.
The police are continuing an intelligence-based operation against the terrorists, the DIG added.
According to the DIG, the police are equipped with modern weapons, including thermal weapons, drones, light and heavy firearms.
