Senior Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former federal minister Hammad Azhar is set to surrender before the court and file a formal bail application. The decision comes after thorough consultations with his legal team and close associates.

According to sources, Azhar has convened his legal team to finalise the strategy for his court appearance and bail petition.

He has reportedly decided to resolved legal proceedings and, if bail is denied, he is prepared to go to jail.

Also, Azhar had been in hiding for nearly two years and was wanted in multiple cases related to the May 9 incidents.

He reemerged public for the first time during the funeral of former Punjab Governor Mian Muhammad Azhar and his father, where he was seen at his family residence.
