Punjab’s Director General of Sports, Khizar Afzaal Chaudhry, has announced a one-year scholarship for the national team players who clinched victory in the Asian Under-16 Volleyball Championship.

In a meeting with the victorious team, Chaudhry congratulated the players on their historic achievement and announced a monthly stipend of Rs70,000 for those in the Platinum category.

He praised the team’s discipline, dedication, and teamwork, noting that their victory over Iran in the final was a remarkable feat.

Chaudhry emphasized the department’s commitment to identifying and nurturing young talent, expressing confidence that these athletes would continue to enhance Pakistan’s reputation on the international stage.

The team’s head coach, Kifayatullah, and other officials were also present during the meeting.
