The University of Karachi’s Chemical Research Centre has revealed the chemical examination report of actress Humaira Asghar, who was found dead in her apartment in Karachi’s Defence Area.

According to the report, there were no traces of any intoxicating or poisonous substances in her body.

Aaj News have obtained a copy of the chemical report. It says that the samples taken from the actress’s hair, liver, and lungs showed no signs of drugs or toxins. The findings rule out initial suspicions of foul play through poisoning or overdose.

Police have forwarded the chemical report to various investigative agencies for further analysis. “Investigations are ongoing from multiple angles, but so far, her death appears to be natural,” a police spokesperson stated.

Officials also confirmed that several items were recovered from the actress’s apartment, but none of them were found to be narcotic or suspicious in nature.

The final cause of death will be determined once all forensic and investigative processes are completed.
