Karachi endures severe heat wave
Karachi is currently facing a severe heat wave, but residents can expect some relief as the Met Office has announced light rain starting tomorrow.
The resumption of sea breezes in the next 24 hours is anticipated to bring a slight drop in temperatures.
Met Office forecasts that light rain will begin in Karachi. Sea breezes are expected to help alleviate the heat.
While most areas of Sindh province will remain hot and dry, winds may offer some respite.
In other regions of the country, rainfall has already begun. Significant rain in Dera Murad Jamali, Naushahro Feroze, and nearby has brought down the temperature, resulting in pleasant weather.
Thunderstorms with rain are also forecasted for Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir, while several areas in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Peshawar, Swat, Malakand, and Abbottabad, are expected to receive rain.
Additionally, rain is anticipated in Punjab, particularly in Rawalpindi, Murree, Attock, and Jhelum.
In Balochistan and interior Sindh, hot weather is likely to persist over the next few days.
