Gold prices in Pakistan saw a notable decrease on Tuesday, mirroring a downward trend in the international market. The price of gold per tola in the local market reached Rs352,300, marking a decline of Rs6,100 during the day.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), 10-gram gold also saw a similar fall, selling at Rs302,040 after a decrease of Rs5,230.

This dip follows a recent surge on June 5, when gold price per tola had reached Rs358,400 after an increase of Rs4,300. The bullion market had been closed from June 6 to June 9 due to Eidul Adha holidays.

Globally, the international rate of gold also decreased on Tuesday. The APGJSA reported the rate at $3,339 per ounce (with a premium of $20), reflecting a $61 drop.

Meanwhile, silver prices remained stable in the local market, with silver per tola holding at Rs3,745.
