Met Office warns of extreme heat across the country
The Met Office has predicted that most regions will face dry and extremely hot weather in the next 24 hours.
In several districts of Punjab and Balochistan, temperatures are expected to be 6 degrees Celsius above normal.
In Lahore, temperatures could soar to 47 degrees Celsius, with a minimum expected around 31 degrees.
The city will see clear skies, and wind speeds are anticipated at 8 kilometers per hour.
The humidity level has reached 37 percent, contributing to the rising heat.
The department has cautioned that the intensity of the heat may escalate in the coming days.
