Nation celebrates Eid al-Adha today
Pakistan is observing Eid-ul-Adha today with traditional religious spirit, commemorating the profound legacy of sacrifice by Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) and Hazrat Ismail (AS).
The day began with special Eid prayers held at mosques across the country, where worshippers gathered to seek blessings for the unity and well-being of the Muslim Ummah.
In the federal capital Islamabad, significant gatherings were observed where people offered Eid prayers, exchanged greetings, and shared the festive joy.
In Karachi, the earliest Eid prayer was offered at the well-known Sabeel Wali Masjid near Guru Mandir.
Following the Eid prayers, Muslims across Pakistan are performing the ritual sacrifice in remembrance of the Sunnah of Hazrat Ibrahim (AS).
Strict security arrangements were implemented nationwide to ensure peaceful Eid-ul-Adha celebrations.
Additional police and Rangers personnel were deployed at sensitive locations, while continuous monitoring was carried out through CCTV cameras.

First day of Eid-ul-Azha was celebrated with great fervor and enthusiasm in Sargodha district,with people offering prayers in over 257 mosques and open fields across the all tehsils of Sargodha including Shah purr,Bhulwal, Kotmomin,Sillanwali,Sahiwal,Bhera and Sargodha.
