Double-storey tent project completed in Mina for Hajj pilgrims
The Saudi company, Kidana overseeing the development of the Kingdom’s holy sites, has completed a modern residential project in Mina featuring double-storey tents.
Designed to provide Hajj pilgrims with a safe, comfortable, and high-quality living environment, the project marks a significant step in improving services at the sacred site.
According to Al Arabiya Urdu, the newly developed area spans over 20,000 square meters and comprises more than 40 buildings along with over 550 modern-style bathrooms.
The entire project was completed within just 100 days and offers accommodation for around 8,000 pilgrims.
Executed in collaboration with the private sector, which contributed 75% of the investment, the initiative emphasizes contemporary architecture, environmental sustainability, and structural durability all while preserving the traditional character of Mina.
