PMD predicts rain in Punjab, KP amid ongoing heat wave
The heat wave continues to affect the country. The Met Office announced that rain is expected in several regions of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa starting today, bringing a much-needed change in weather conditions.
Humid winds have moved into the upper and central areas, while a new system of western winds is expected to bring storms and rain to several locations today.
The PDMA Punjab issued a warning for storms and thunderous rain for tonight and tomorrow, with expected rainfall in Rawalpindi, Murree, Galyat, Lahore, Mianwali, Multan, and Bahawalpur.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, rain is forecasted for Saturday in areas including Chitral, Dir, Swat, Malakand, Manshera, Battagram, Shangla, and Kohistan.
